Firms stockpiling ahead of the October 31 Brexit date saw Eurotunnel chalk up an all-time record for freight traffic last month.
The Le Shuttle Freight service saw 153,600 trucks transported, beating the previous record set in March - that was set ahead of the original Brexit date.
It comes as the firm celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 1.3 million trucks have crossed the Channel aboard Le Shuttle Freight.
Getlink, Eurotunnel's parent company, said passenger traffic was also up during the month - lifting by 1% on the same time in 2018. Some 205,371 vehicles used the service linking Folkestone with Coquelles - making it the best October since 2003.
It was primarily put down to the half-term holiday falling in the month.
Since January 1, nearly 2.3 million passenger vehicles have crossed the Channel with Le Shuttle.
