Carousel scoops top award

Award-winning logistics firm Carousel has scooped gold.
The Sittingbourne-based firm has been granted the prestigious Investors in People Gold Award, joining an elite group of fewer than 300 organisations nationwide. Carousel is the first transport/logistics company in the South East and London to achieve the status.
In June, Carousel Logistics, whose mission is to be "the best of the best", was named Employer of the Year in the Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA).
The latest accolade goes to organisations committed to business improvement through the effective management and development of their people that goes beyond normal expectations.
The IIP assessor said: "The company values are embedded within the business of Carousel" it is not just an initiative.
There is a breadth that impacts on the culture; the training and development; appraisals and other business processes - running throughout the company. People believe that the Best of the Best is what Carousel is all about."
Managing director Graham Martin, said: "The award is a real testament to the dedication of the staff and is recognition of our ongoing commitment to providing a first class service to our clients.
