A designer retailer with stores in Kent is in talks to appoint administrators.
Iconic British brand Cath Kidston has been seeking a buyer for the past two weeks.
The firm has stores in Canterbury, Ashford and Bluewater in Dartford.
The fashion chain, famed for its unique take on vintage designs, filed a notice to appoint Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) as administrator yesterday.
Cath Kidston trades from more than 200 shops across the UK..
The development comes as the coronavirus crisis continues to tighten its grip on the already struggling retail sector.
Earlier this week restaurant chain Carluccio's and rent-to-own giant BrightHouse filed for administration.
Yesterday we reported how Debenhams was on the brink of collapse.
The business has been contacted for comment.
