A coach company is kicking off its anniversary celebrations early by offering commuters a month’s free travel.
Passengers using Chalkwell’s London services can buy 13 months’ journeys for the price of 12 if they get one of its new annual GoCards by the end of February.
The Sittingbourne-based operator will also give existing customers an extra month if they renew by November next year, when the company will have been running for 85 years.
The company is offering a series of treats to its customers to mark the occassion, including treating annual ticket holders from across the county to a free Daybreak to Winchester Christmas Market or Bruges Christmas Market next month.
Chalkwell’s commercial director Roland Eglinton said: “The company started out in 1931 and we’ve come a long way since then.
“Next year is a big milestone for us and we want to include our customers in the celebrations. We wouldn’t be where we are now if it wasn’t for them.”
