Fast-growing S Lucas Group has scooped a national construction award for the second time.
The Wrotham-based firm, which has worked for F1 racing team McLaren and several Olympic projects, won the Finishing and Fit Out accolade in the Construction News awards held at the Hilton Hotel, in London's Park Lane.
It won the same award in 2010 and was shortlisted last year.
Chairman and managing director Danny Lucas, pictured left, accepted the award. He said: "We're thrilled to have won this award for the second time. It reflects well on the whole company and acknowledges our dedication to quality, reliability, safety and to our environmental considerations."
Rebecca Evans, editor of Construction News, told him: "Without specialist contractors like you, the industry wouldn't survive. You are the foundations on which it stands, and without which it couldn't exist."
S Lucas has worked on the Olympic Stadium, the Velodrome, the ArcelorMittal Orbit, the Shard, the Savoy Hotel and Westfield Stratford City among many blue chip projects.
