Fledgling companies and budding entrepreneurs are invited to the Discovery Park in Sandwich tomorrow as it launches a new startup zone.
Bosses at the science and technology park are encouraging small business owners to attend an open day on Tuesday, November 4, to learn about the park's new zone, which will offer affordable office work space.
The new startup initiative - which was launched at the Kent 2020 Vision event at Detling in October - will offer a variety of options for small businesses, from desk space to a bank of desks and one and two person offices.
Priced from £150 per month, benefits include free Wi-Fi, shared breakout areas and photocopying facilities.
"It’s a really flexible, cost effective option..." - Anna Stone
Anna Stone, leasing manager at Discovery Park said: “We now have nearly 100 businesses on site and we’re delighted to be able to market ourselves to small companies, with the launch of our dedicated startup zone.
"It’s a really flexible, cost effective option and a fantastic opportunity to network with other startups.
"Whether you are actively looking for an office base or thinking about options for the future, we'd invite you to come and take a look.”
