Euro Car Parts creates 20 jobs at new outlet

A rapidly growing car parts company has created 20 jobs at a new outlet.
Euro Car Parts opened a 20,000 sq ft store at Quarry Wood Industrial Estate, Aylesford, yesterday.
The new store is one of 100 already open for business nationwide, with more planned. A growth strategy will see the creation of 2,000 jobs across the UK this year, including 20 in Aylesford.
It is also a regional distribution centre and will supply additional stock to the branches in Ashford, Canterbury, Rochester, Crayford and Tunbridge Wells.
The company was founded 30 years ago to supply BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and VW parts but has now become a leading UK distributor of parts for all makes of cars and commercial vehicles.
It stocks more than 114,000 part numbers and serves independent garages, DIY enthusiasts, mobile mechanics and motorists. Since 2011, it has been owned by the LKQ Corporation.
Managing director, Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, said: “These are exciting times for Euro Car Parts, with our rapid and sustainable expansion creating thousands of new jobs and helping local businesses prosper.”
