Locate in Kent to host visit to NIAB EMR, Kent Science Park in Sittingbourne and University of Greenwich labs at Medway

A host of fresh fruit and wine producers from Europe will be in the county next month in a bid to showcase the county's facilities.
Inward investment company Locate in Kent has invited firms from France, Austria, Germany and Switzerland to tour key research sites.
These include the Kent Science Park in Sittingbourne, NIAB EMR in East Malling and the University of Greenwich's algal biotechnology unit on its Medway campus.
Gavin Cleary, CEO at Locate in Kent, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming companies involved in growing soft fruits, manufacturing and food production.
“It will offer a unique opportunity for business from across Europe to gain invaluable insights into the latest technologies and industry developments in this part of the South East as well as networking with key producers.
“We will also be sharing information on our Locate in Kent accelerator and soft-landing programme, which helps businesses looking to set up and start working in Kent and the UK.”
