The operator of Eurotunnel says numbers of both freight and passengers nose-dived in November, with Brexit and the General Election being blamed.
Getlink, the firm's parent company, says passenger traffic slumped by 13% compared to November 2018 due to uncertainty caused by the election.
It means, going into the final month of the year, that since January passenger numbers have dipped 2% compared to 2018.
Some 2,418,827 million passenger vehicles have used the crossing from Folkestone to Coquelles.
Meanwhile, it's a similar picture for freight traffic.
It also saw a 13% drop last month compared to the year before. Eurotunnel said it was down to "the effect of stock piling in October in preparation for Brexit and an unfavourable calendar".
Since the beginning of the year, almost 1.5 million trucks have crossed with Le Shuttle Freight, a decrease of 6% compared to the same period in 2018.
In October, it saw record freight numbers.
