A leading firm which has seen revenue rocket by 600% over the last five years, is to expand.
Aylesford-based TPS Global Logistics, which specialises in freight forwarding and logistics, is expanding into a second warehouse at its headquarters.
In addition to its dramatic revenue growth, over the same period staff numbers have increased from 16 to 44 and, last year, it won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for a second time, in recognition of its achievements in international trade.
Established in 2003, TPS Global Logistics offers worldwide door-to-door delivery solutions for a number of specialist industries including high value, beauty, cosmetics, retail, e-commerce, tech and broadcast.
One year on from the award, the company is celebrating 16 years of trading with a record turnover, up 20% on the previous year. Most of the growth has been in the freight department as well as the warehousing and fulfilment services.
Managing director Matt Smith said: "I am delighted with our year end results, the hard work of the team has paid off. Winning a Queen’s Award for a second time has also helped to open doors and promote our reputation for international freight forwarding and supply chain logistics.’
