Paint protection specialists Diamondbrite, based in West Farleigh, near Maidstone, has signed a partnership deal with a team in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
The firm has signed with MB Motosport - the team formed by former Formula One racer Mark Blundell and Motorbase Performance.
Now, ahead of the 2021 season the team, which operates under the MB Motorsport Accelerated by Blue Square name, has signed a deal with the Kent firm.
To mark the occasion, Diamondbrite has taken delivery of a 2021 Ford Puma ST from local dealer Haynes Ford.
At the handover was one of the team's drivers, Goudhurst race ace Jake Hill. He will be behind the wheel of the racing cars along with Ollie Jackson.
Jake Hill said: "It’s great to have Diamondbrite onboard with the team. Not only is it a fantastic feeling when a well-known brand wants to support the team but their products are certainly going to come in handy over the season too - you’d be surprised how much time we spend cleaning the cars between races.”
Lance Boseley, marketing director at Diamondbrite, added: "In this our 29th year of trading we see this as a fantastic opportunity for us to partner one of the BTCC’s most exciting teams. MB Motorsport was a natural choice as they are also a Kent-based company and Jake is born and bred in the Garden of England too."
