A smoothies and juice bar business is closing a store in Kent with the loss of four jobs as it tries to restructure its debts.
Fuel Juice Bars will close its site in Royal Victoria Place shopping centre in Tunbridge Wells.
It is part of nine closures nationally, with 46 job losses.
The company has hired accountancy RSM to advise on a restructure which it has blamed on “market conditions”.
It is proposing a company voluntary arrangement to protect its landlords and creditors.
As part of the process, it decided to put a smaller subsidiary Fuel Juice Bars England and Wales Limited into administration on December 4, resulting in the closures and redundancies.
It continues to “trade strongly” from 27 other sites in the UK.
A statement from RSM said: “Management are confident the proposed restructuring will enable Fuel Juice Bars Limited to continue to prosper in the future.”
