A garden nursery is being sold with plans to build 16 homes on the site.
Summerfield Nurseries in the village of Staple, near Sandwich, is currently holding a closing down sale ahead of the sale.
The site comprises a wholesale and retail nursery which has been in the same family ownership for over 60 years.
The five-acre site has outline planning permission for the housing which includes six two and three-bedroom starter homes and larger detached properties.
BTF Partnership, which is handling the sale, says a guide price for the site is on application with a closing date for tenders announced in May or June.
Richard Thomas at BTF Partnership said: “This is an attractive site which is largely flat, in a rural location with excellent road links to nearby larger towns such as Canterbury, Dover, Sandwich and Discovery Park.
"This development opportunity would suit a range of developers seeking to promote new build dwellings to the local market in a very pleasant setting."
The guide price is available on application and the closing date for tenders will be announced in May/June 2019.
