15:56, 13 May 2013

A long-established Ford dealership has won a top award for driving up servicing performance and customer satisfaction.
The Ford Car Service Team at Haynes Ford in Maidstone has been presented with the Ford Motor Company Chairman’s Award for outstanding customer satisfaction. Each member of staff in the Haynes Service Department was given a personalised bottle of champagne.
Jon Wellsman, the car-maker’s customer service division director, presented the trophy to Andrew Haynes, chairman and managing director of the Maidstone business, and his team. Haynes celebrated its centenary as a Ford dealer in 2011. It sold its first Model T Ford in 1911.
The latest accolade celebrates the best dealers for customer satisfaction in the Ford network. Mr Wellsman said: “Having been to Haynes’ celebration of its centenary with Ford, it is clear why Haynes is one of Ford of Britain’s oldest and most established businesses, as customer service is clearly at its heart.
“It is one of our traditional family businesses where everyone is focused on the same goal. I am delighted that we have been able to recognise this this year with the Chairman’s Award, which shows they are one of our top performing dealers in the network.”
Mr Haynes added: “Whilst we have had very good customer satisfaction scores over the years and indeed won this Award in 2009 in our Sales Department, this was the first time our Service Department has been recognised for its excellent record in customer service.
“I am very pleased with what our Service Department has achieved and would like to also thank all our customers for rating their customer experience with us so highly. We will continue with our constant goal of trying to ensure that all our customers are completely satisfied with the experience they have with us.”
