A firm that sells holiday add-ons has scooped a top award.

Holiday Extras, based in Newingreen, near Hythe, has been named Star Holiday Add-ons Operator.

Travel agents voted the firm their favourite supplier of services such as airport hotel rooms, airport lounges, insurance and airport car parking.

The award was presented at London's Landmark Hotel in a ceremony hosted by television presenter Mark Durden-Smith.

After collecting the award, James Lewis, strategic partnerships manager at HolidayExtras.com, said the company was thrilled.

"We have worked particularly hard this year to support our travel partners with really great add-ons at the right price and at the right locations."
