Businesses in the hospitality and tourism industry across Kent are being urged to join a webinar taking place later this week.
The online support session will look at steps being taken by the sector as it looks to find a way out of the lockdown which has caused such hardship to so many.
Organised by the local branch of the Federation of Small Businesses, guest speakers will include Visit Kent chief executive Deirdre Wells, Shepherd Neame's CEO Jonathan Neame and Daniel Sangiuseppe, director of Castlewood Hotels, which has hotels in Canterbury and Folkestone.
Kent area leader of the FSB, Deborah Turner, said: “Listening to our peers and supporting fellow Kent firms has been very important to us during lockdown. As we begin to ease our way back into business, we are delighted to have three very interesting speakers who will give an insight into how they have managed the situation and what we may be able to do to help hospitality industry bounce back in the coming months.”
Mr Sangiuseppe added: “The hospitality industry has been hit particularly hard because of the Covid-19 outbreak. I’m pleased to be able to join this webinar and share some of the steps we have taken at Castlewood to protect our hotels and look after our staff and customers.”
The webinar takes place on Thursday, June 11 from 11am to 12.30pm.
