A number of established recruiters, organisations and educational institutes are just some of the businesses to book their places at the upcoming KentJobs Fair Canterbury.

The inaugural major jobs fair, which is in association with KM Kentish Gazette, Kent Jobs and also promoted by the East Kent College (EKC) Group, will take place on Wednesday, May 15 at Canterbury College between 9am and 2pm.

KentJobs Fair Canterbury is seen as the ideal way for job seekers in the county to meet a good number of different representatives from various educational institutes, recruitment agencies, organisations and private companies all on the same day.

There are a limited number of stands left but companies must book now. Admittance is free.

Those in attendance will also go into a draw to win a Dell Chromebook 13 3380 laptop.

Apart from EKC Group, other educational institutes that will be exhibiting include Kent Adult Education, Kent College, JTL Training and Bradstow School.

A number of trusts and charities - looking to recruit new members - will also be there including East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, Action for Children, Strode Park Foundation, Symbol, Avante and Rapport Housing & Care.

The fair is also attracting a good number companies from the private sector from recruitment agencies to childcare services.

Some of the stands at the fair will be taken by Connect2Staff, Dreamland, Motorline and Alexander Mann Solutions/BAE.

KM Media Group will also be present as well as Canterbury City Council.

A good tip for those looking to attend the fair includes bringing copies of their CVs and being prepared for possible ‘mini’ interviews.
