Bloodhound supercar at IPS International HQ in Strood as training provider spreads the word about apprenticeships for Kick Start Kent campaign
16:00, 12 May 2014
Businesses looking to hire an apprentice can also get a closer look at a supersonic car aiming to beat the land speed record.
The Bloodhound car will be at the home of IPS International – a Kick Start Kent campaign partner – on Tuesday.
As well as inviting company bosses, the training provider has contacted schools to send along pupils interested in engineering, cars and manufacturing.
The car will be at IPS’ base in Medway City Estate, Strood.
There will be an employer breakfast from 8am to 10am and an afternoon workshop from 4pm to 5.30pm.
If you are unable to attend, details on how to hire an apprentice - and the benefits - are available by emailing kickstartkent@thekmgroup.co.uk.
