A business to business communications agency has won a contract to promote the Folkestone Triennial.
Realia Marketing has been appointed by arts festival organisers the Creative Foundation to plan media coverage for the three-month event.
The Hythe-based firm – which employs four people – will use its a five-figure budget to target national, local and international businesses during its campaign.
The festival will attract artists like John Lennon’s former wife Yoko Ono to the town, with regular events happening at venues like the Quarterhouse.
Director Paul Williamson said: “The pitch centred on our proven strategic thinking and ability to add value beyond the brief.
“I am absolutely delighted the Creative Foundation has chosen us to help promote one of the most ambitious public art projects presented in the UK.
“As a local agency we are all really excited about the campaign and are looking forward to working on this high profile international event for Folkestone and Kent.”
