It's official – our websites have broken the 4,000,000 barrier.
The KM Group's sites delivered a record 4,207,000 page impressions in February.
The figure represents an increase of more than 10 per cent on February 2008 and means an average of 150,277 page impressions every day throughout the month.
The number of unique users was also the highest ever – up 34 per cent to top 286,500 in February.
The figures have been audited by ABCe, which is operated by the Audit Bureau of Circulation, the organisation which provides independently-verified data for the media.
None of our major Kent media competitors publishes audited website figures.
Commercial director Brin Bucknor said: "Having credible business data that has been authenticated by an independent verifier is really good news for our customers because they know it is reliable information they can trust.
"These excellent figures confirm no other independent media group in Kent can match our combined reach with websites, newspapers and local radio."
The KM Group's websites include the county-wide kentonline.co.uk and sites which partner its newspapers, including kentmessenger.co.uk, medwaymessenger.co.uk, kentishgazette.co.uk, kentishexpress.co.uk, thanetextra.co.uk, eastkentmercury.co.uk, timesguardian.co.uk, gravesendmessenger.co.uk and dartfordmessenger.co.uk.
• A single page impression is one request from a user and can represent several pages or files.
• A "unique user" is a device through which a person interacts with a web site.
