A logistics specialist has hired two senior members to its European management team.
The Carousel Logistics Group, based in Sittingbourne, has hired Thomas Griese as chief technology and operations officer and Marcel Andriessen as chief sales officer.
The pair will join the board as part of its ongoing push into European markets following its merger with German high-speed logistics firm LSi Logistik.
These appointments follow the opening of Carousel’s new sales and innovation centre, which opened in Frankfurt in June, and investment into its new facility in Munich.
Graham Martin, co-founder and CEO, said: “Both Thomas and Marcel have a proven track-record for success in their respective areas, making them ideal candidates to join Carousel. Together, they make a formidable team, strengthening our growing European team to help us meet the ever-increasing demand for service-led logistics across Europe.”
