Another major logistics firm has agreed a deal to move into the new Panattoni Park on the former Aylesford Newsprint site.
Fowler Welch, which specialises in transporting temperature-controlled goods, has signed a 15-year lease for a 97,891sq ft facility. It is part of the Culina Group.
It follows in the footsteps of DHL which was the first tenant to put pen to paper on a deal on the 90-acre development in November.
Both will move in once work on the site, near Junction 4 of the M20, is completed. DHL is expected to move in around July.
Alex Mitchell, development associate at Panattoni, said: “In a short space of time we have signed pre-lets with two high-quality logistics companies, which endorses our belief in the location. Our development at Aylesford is the largest available logistics site serving London and the Channel ports.”
