A major new housing complex in Ashford has been described as being ‘ideally placed’ for people needing to commute to Canterbury and London.

The multi-million pound Riverside Park development is being delivered by GRE Assets - specialists in investment and management of UK real estate - in the centre of Ashford, only half a mile from Ashford International Station on the former Powergen site.

Positioned next to the Great Stour River and overlooking Victoria Park, Riverside Park is already proving to one of the most sought after addresses in Ashford with one-to-two bedroom apartments from £195,000 and three bedroom houses from £450,000 available to buy now.

And for those looking for more affordable accommodation and needing to get to and from big cities like London or Canterbury, then Riverside Park could be just the answer.

“We have already seen a tremendous amount of interest for these properties with over 90% of Phase One already sold,” said Michael El-Kassir who is Managing Director of GRE Assets.

“With the recent expansion of the Ashford Designer Outlet as well as the newly opened Elwick Place, which are just around the corner from the development, the town has attracted a lot of investors.”

Michael adds: “Apart from being affordable homes and particularly great for buy to let, Riverside Park is also ideally placed for those commuting to other towns or cities.

“The nearby train station means that there is an easy rail link to Canterbury because on an average weekday, there are just under 70 trains travelling between Canterbury and Ashford.

“Commuters can be in Canterbury in just 25 minutes and it only takes 38 minutes to get to London St Pancras by high speed rail from Ashford.”

The new development will see 246 apartments and 26 riverside townhouses built close to the town centre, walking distance from Curious Brewery, Elwick Place and The Coachworks.

Work on Riverside Park started in the spring of 2017 and an exclusive Open Day Launch weekend for potential buyers to have a first look at the remaining plots will take place between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, November 23 and then again from 10am until 2pm on Sunday, November 24.
