Meet the Page Three girls snapper
12:38, 06 January 2012
by Trevor Sturgess, business editor
A talented Kent photographer is focusing her business on glamorous models - including Page Three girl Peta Todd, girlfriend of champion cyclist Mark Cavendish.
After years as a newspaper staffer, Alison Webster, from Goudhurst, set up a freelance enterprise to snap Page Three girls and take corporate shots for catalogues and advertisers.
Alison, circled, often uses locations close to her home - as well as accompanying the models for shoots in Ibiza, Tenerife and Spain.
The mother-of-two says they have become part of the family and are far from a "dumb blonde" stereotype.
"Like everybody else, I thought that if you are a model, you must be stupid," she said. "How wrong I've been."
Her subjects, including Peta, recently met up at the Green Cross Inn, Goudhurst.
Alison's daughter Charlie Jacks, now a singer, has been a model.
"It's fun," she said. "We're like a little family and we all look out for each other. It's good having my mum doing this."
