National Apprenticeship Week events in Kent

Scores of events are happening across Kent for National Apprenticeship Week, running from Monday, March 3 to Friday, March 7.
Here is a run down.
East Kent College
Tuesday, March 4: The senior management team are going back to the floor for the day, with principal Graham Razey becoming an electrician.
Wednesday, March 5: Careers day where the employer team will be supporting students who wish to sign up to the National Apprenticeship Service, get hints and tips on applying for vacancies.
K College
Wednesday, March 5: K College are having an apprenticeship evening for employers at 6pm at Tonbridge.
Mid Kent College
Monday, March 3: Lee McQueen Day
Tuesday, March 4: Launch of MES website
Wednesday, March 5: Medway Employers Fair from 8.30am to 2pm. Maidstone open evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Thursday, March 6: Maidstone Employer's Fair 8.30am to 2pm.
Hadlow College
A promotional stand with information on apprenticeships will be in the main reception all week.
Tuesday to Friday, March 4 to 7: Taster workshops from 4pm to 5pm. Each workshop will be bookable in advance and each attendee leaves the session with an information pack on apprenticeships. Tuesday's is on horticulture, Wednesday's and Thursday's sports turf and Friday's food.
Canterbury College
Thursday, March 6: Apprenticeship breakfast seminar highlighting the benefits of apprenticeships and the funding available across business sectors in the county. Runs from 8am to 9.30am in the main hall.
Kent Enterprise House, Herne Bay
Friday, March 7: Free open-morning for small and medium-sized employers who have ever considered hiring an apprentice. They can find out information and learn about the funding available. Runs 9am to 1pm.
Set Training, Swanscombe
Wednesday, March 5: An apprenticeship open day at Unit 8a Swanscombe Business Centre, for businesses to find out information. Call 01322 423358.
Swale Borough Council
Tuesday, March 4: Learner engagement event at Swallows Leisure Centre from 3.30pm to 5pm, giving young people apprenticeship information and a chance to speak directly with real people from real jobs in local businesses.
Thursday, March 6: Growth strategy event at Hempstead House Hotel from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, with speaker Jane Ollis, chief executive of BSK providing insight to local businesses on devising a growth strategy and business planning.
