00:00, 11 November 2017
Accountancy firm Crowe Clark Whitehill has appointed a new office managing partner in Kent.
Mark Anderson takes over the running of operations in the county from Keith Newman, who is stepping down after 16 years.
Having joined the business in 1988, Mr Anderson became a partner in 2000 and has supported a variety of start-ups, entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses.
Beyond Kent, he has also worked with listed companies and global groups.
He will oversee the firm’s relocation to a new office in Maidstone in the coming months.
The business also has an office in Tunbridge Wells.
Mr Anderson said: “It is an exciting time for businesses in Kent.
“While there are undoubtedly challenges to face, the launch of large-scale infrastructure projects, along with wider investment into the region, both present an array of opportunities for the regional economy and for those businesses with a growth agenda.
“Through the specialist skills developed throughout the Kent team, we will continue to support our clients’ ambitions to exceed their business objectives.”
Crowe Clark Whitehill chief executive Nigel Bostock said: “I offer both my congratulations to Mark and my sincere thanks to Keith, both of whom have been integral to our continued success in Kent.”
