New service to promote trade with China

China beckons for firms keen to check out a new international trade service.
Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, covering firms in Ashford, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Malling, Tunbridge Wells, Medway and North West Kent, is launching a LinkToChina service. It aims to help Kent exporters understand how to win business in Chinese markets.
It works with the Chinese Chamber of International Trade and will offer fast matchmaking opportunities between Kent and China.
Jo James, chief executive of Kent Invicta Chamber pictured left, said: "The chamber is committed to supporting exporters in the county and already provide a range of international services, from export documentation to training programmes.
"Up to now our activities have mainly been focused around developing trade within the European markets and we are delighted to be part of this exciting programme and be in a position to assist Kent companies explore potential new lucrative markets further afield."
