The latest unemployment statistics have revealed an increase in those claiming benefits for the 14th month.
Figures released today show 30,345 people in Kent signed on in September, a rise of 690 from last month's official figures.
Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells are the only boroughs with fewer than 1,000 people unemployed although the number has gone up in both areas.
Medway still has the highest number at 5,345, closely followed by Thanet with 4,345.
All areas saw a rise but Maidstone had the biggest hike with an extra 115 unemployed compared to August.
Canterbury had the lowest rise with 15 more people on the list bringing the total to 2,250.
Since September 2018 the number of people out of work has risen by nearly 10,000.
