Parcel delivery giant Hermes has become the latest firm to agree to move onto a major new logistics site in the county - creating some 150 jobs in the process.
It has agreed terms for a 78,794sq ft warehouse on Panattoni Park - a new site being created where Aylesford Newsprint once stood.
It will be capable of handling more than 220,000 parcels a day and operate around the clock.
That's double the capacity at its existing site in nearby Quarry Wood.
The UK's largest dedicated parcel company will create 50 full-time jobs and 100 part-time posts when the site becomes operational later this year.
Ross Wilson, depot general manager at Hermes UK, said: "It shows the faith the business has in Team Maidstone to deliver a world class service from this world class facility. We are all very grateful for this opportunity and would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped make this happen."
It will join the likes of logistic giants Fowler Welch and DHL which have both agreed to take space at the site.
