As we face the prospect of reduced opportunities to eat out again due to the latest coronavirus restrictions , a new local business is offering to deliver restaurant food direct to your door.
Caraway & Rye is offering its Restaurant Without Walls delivery service from October 1, in the Ashford area.
It is promising contactless ordering via it's soon-to-go-live website and will offer the service from Wednesday to Saturday.
In addition to a range which features everything from rib-eye steak to vegan and vegetarian dishes, it will also be offering a selection of wines too.
Executive head chef Spencer Westcott said: "Whilst Kent has one of the best food scenes in Britain, its home delivery options have been dominated by takeaways or big chain eateries, until now. There is nothing like this on offer. Our aim with the Restaurant without Walls is to deliver the finest quality food, made from local ingredients, straight to the customer’s doorstep.
"It’s all about choice and experience. With the finest ingredients from the likes of Albion Fine Foods and Seasons By Nature we are giving you the peace of mind that our suppliers and partners have all been carefully selected by us to ensure that their locality and ethics match ours."
To ensure all food is prepared and delivered on time, advanced bookings are required.
