Business leaders would overwhelmingly recommend the county as a place to operate a business, according to a survey.
Warners Solicitors, which has branches in Tonbridge and Sevenoaks, conducted research during the recent Sevenoaks Business Show to gauge attitudes to operating in the county.
And 95% of those quizzed would recommend trading here.
When it comes to the current challenges facing Kent businesses, 72% of respondents pinpointed Brexit and ongoing economic uncertainty as the biggest issue.
Recruiting and retaining employees with the right skills also emerged as an issue, with 85% claiming they find it either somewhat or very challenging.
The research also explored businesses’ attitudes to operating specifically in Sevenoaks, with organisations praising the town’s geographical positioning with easy access to London and the rest of Kent (72%) and thriving business community and chamber of commerce (52%) as key advantages.
However, many also highlighted that parking and traffic issues (55%) and recruiting and retaining the right talent (38%) presented the biggest challenges.
