A Thai food chain has opened its first outlet outside of London at one of the county's biggest shopping sites.
Rosa’s Thai Cafe, which has a number of restaurants in the capital, this week opened in Bluewater - the first Thai restaurant at the shopping complex.
Rosa’s Bluewater will host up to 90 customers across 2,500 sq feet in the upper plaza next to the Showcase Cinema du Lux expansion.
Gavin Adair, managing director at Rosa’s Thai Cafe, said: “London was a great starting point for us to offer our authentic and sustainably sourced dishes, but we wanted to reach out to an even wider market. We’re delighted to be bringing an entirely new type of cuisine to Bluewater, which we view as one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations.”
Robert Hardie, portfolio director at Landsec, co-owner and asset manager of Bluewater, added: “We have seen strong demand for space in the plaza and we know Rosa’s Thai Cafe will be a popular addition.”
