A leading manufacturer of electric bikes in the county have unveiled their latest range - pedal cycles with a full throttle.
It means users can be fully propelled by the motor rather than having to pedal to get an extra boost.
Wisper Bikes in Kemsing, Sevenoaks, has established itself as one of the top e-bike providers and hopes its limited run of full throttle bikes on three of its most popular models will prove a hit.
Users will be able to propel the bike up to 15.5mph without any leg power.
The firm has had the bikes tested by the Driver and Vehicle Standard Agency (DVSA) and had them approved as 'low powered mopeds' which means they can be ridden legally on roads and private land.
David Miall, founder and director of bikes at Wisper, explained: “I am particularly excited to be able to offer full throttle bikes again. They are more inclusive than standard e-bikes, enabling those that need a little more help to discover, or return to the joys of cycling.”
These range will be sold directly from Wisper’s Kent headquarters, with plans to roll them out nationally over the coming 12 months.
