A new car programme presented by journalist Quentin Willson and supermodel Jodie Kidd will thrill viewers on Channel 5 when it begins this week.

While the 13-part series excites on the box, fans heading to the website of the Classic Car Show will be using features created in Kent.

Creative agency thinkzest, based in Lordswood, Chatham, was commissioned to create the online platform for the series, which airs for the first time at 7pm tomorrow night.

The website will feature interviews and information about the cars, supported by photos and videos.

As well as racing enthusiasts Willson and Kidd, the TV show will include regular appearances from ex-F1 driver Bruno Senna, nephew of the late legend Ayrton.

Belinda Collins, client service director at thinkzest, said: “We were delighted to be chosen to work with the Classic Car Show.

“The challenges for us were to ensure that the site appeals to car enthusiasts in general, not only to viewers of the show, and that over the 13 weeks of the series that we can support the programme with fresh and relevant content.”

The release of the website comes as the company hires Tony Enright as its new creative director.

Mr Enright has 20 years experience with agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi, Sapient Nitro and Wunderman.

thinkzest managing director Alan Young said: “This appointment is the first manifestation of our plans to become the premier agency in the South East.

“I think it will demonstrate to our clients, and to our competitors, that we are on an upward trend and that we intend to offer them even more creative solutions than we have previously delighted them with. We’re not resting on our laurels.”

Mr Enright added: “thinkzest is going through a challenging period of planned growth, so I’m delighted to be appointed to bring new creative leadership and my experience to their offering.”
