A Kent law firm has hired a family lawyer to improve its work in divorce and separation cases.
Vanda James has joined Cripps, based in Tunbridge Wells, thanks to her national reputation for her matrimonial work.
She is highly ranked in the Chambers legal guide and well-known regionally and in London.
She has lived and worked in Kent since the early 1990s, having previously worked in the capital.
Her expertise includes cases with an international element, advice to clients and all aspects of separation and divorce.
Cripps partner Myles McIntosh said: “Vanda is an experienced lawyer with an excellent reputation for her work in assisting wealthy individuals on complex matters.
"She will be a valuable addition to our private client team.”
Mrs James said: “I am delighted to have joined Cripps as it has a well-deserved reputation for providing an excellent service to its clients.”
It comes as Cripps has been named one of the UK’s top 25 law firms for its private client work.
The award is from eprivateclient, a leading web site and news service for private client practitioners.
Mr McIntosh added: “This listing comes just after our short listing for the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards - the only law firm in Kent to be so.”
Cripps has offices in Tunbridge Wells, Kings Hill, Sandwich and London.
