Southeastern increases free WiFi service to 100MB on high-speed routes

Rail passengers are set to get more free WiFi data when travelling on Southeastern trains - with the allowance doubled on some services.
The train company launched a free onboard WiFi service two years ago on its Kent trains allowing users to tap into a free allowance of 50MB a day.
Now it has confirmed that is being increased to 75MB and doubled to 100MB on high-speed routes.
And in a bid to end the perennial problem of phone's cutting out when using tunnels, the firm says it has plans to improve that too.
A spokesman said: "We’re working with our industry partners to improve connectivity in the tunnels on our high-speed routes."
