A firm which specialises in offering translation services says turnover increased by almost 24% in 2021 as it welcomed hundreds of clients.
The Translation People, which has an office in Tunbridge Wells, says its growth comes as firms look to grow internationally.
The firm, which is headquartered in Manchester and also has offices in Birmingham, Glasgow, Germany, France and the US, says turnover last year increased to £7.2million.
It says that was fuelled by 631 new customers which accounted for 65% growth across the group.
Now it hopes to double its revenues by 2025 through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. The Tunbridge Wells branch was itself acquired by the firm in 2018, having previously been Cicero Translations which had operated for 40 years.
Jasmin Schneider, managing director of The Translation People, said: “All four of our regions – the UK, France, Germany and US – experienced strong growth.
“As well as seeing increased demand for remote interpreting and video translation, we’ve seen a rise in e-learning translation projects and requests to integrate with client translation or content management systems."
