The firm, which has targeted areas outside the reach of some of the traditional big fast link providers, delivers a full-fibre connection offering speeds of up to 900Mbps.

Andy Conibere, Trooli's chief executive officer, explained: "The pandemic has highlighted the importance of ultra-fast and reliable broadband for UK consumers. It’s a vital part of how businesses and people communicate and consume information and keep themselves entertained.

"With this expansion the Trooli network is now available to more than 70,000 premises, meaning even more residents and businesses have the opportunity to transform their experience of using the internet whether for working, studying or relaxing.”

The new areas being connected are: Harrietsham and Lenham; Goudhurst and Horsmonden; Greenhithe; Cuxton, Holborough and Halling; and Higham, Cliffe Woods and Shorne.
