Three lawyers have been singled out by the legal industry’s bible for their corporate expertise.
The trio, all with Vertex Law, based in Kings Hill, West Malling, were named in the 2010 edition of Chambers.
The firm is the only one with two lawyers ranked in the top band of those specialising in Corporate Affairs and Mergers and Acquisitions in Kent and Sussex.
They are Trevor Carney, CEO, and Stuart Butler-Gallie, a founding member of the firm and director of business development.
Their colleague, James Beatton, was ranked in the second band. He focuses on a wide range of company and commercial matters with particular emphasis on business recovery work, reorganisations and reconstructions.
Vertex Law was ranked in the top band of legal firms specialising in Corporate and M&A in Kent and Sussex and for the first time received accolades for its work in Intellectual Property while improving its rankings in the area of Real Estate.
“We are delighted with the personal and corporate recognition we have received in the latest edition of Chambers,” said Mike Geerts, non-executive chairman.
“It’s testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone here at Vertex Law and the underlying quality of the service offering.”
Chambers is an independent, annual guide to the UK’s legal profession. Rankings are assessed according to technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness/astuteness, diligence, commitment and other qualities clients consider relevant.
