10 reasons why Medway is a tourist hotspot

The Medway Towns didn't fare well in a survey published this week rating Kent's top visitor attractions.
A measly two per cent of the 632 people questioned ticked Chatham's Historic Dockyard as their day trip destination of choice.
It caused such ire in this corner of the office that we decided to compile our own Top 10 of reasons for pulling off the A2, other than engine failure.
The survey by independent market research company Local Opinion had a day at a Kent seaside resort as their top choice.
Medway may not have a Margate but we do have an Egypt Bay and the fishing off the end of Gillingham Pier, we're told, is second to none.
The most popular attraction after the coast was Leeds Castle, near Maidstone, with 12.9 per cent.
Medway can more than match that with its ring of Napoleonic Forts and that's before you throw in the cathedral and one of the UK's best preserved castles.
But what do you think? What would be in your Top 10? Are there any sights we've missed that ought to receive wider acclaim?
