It's no secret that Kent is a beautiful place to live, but sometimes pictures just don't do it justice.

That's why we've rounded up some fabulous photos that show the county in all its glory.

Here are 11 pictures that prove Kent really is the Garden of England.

1 The Hop Shop, Castle Farm, Sevenoaks

2 Hever Castle, Hever Road, Edenbridge

3 Birchington, Kent

4 Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve, Hythe

5 The University of Kent, Mandela Building

6 The Big Cat Sanctuary, Smarden, Ashford

Happy 13th Birthday Xizi Xizi was born at Helsinki Zoo in Finland, she arrived at The Big Cat Sanctuary in February 2007, to the delight of all, having long awaited a breeding female Amur Leopard, she is easily identified by the little heart shaped marking on her left cheek and stunningly beautiful looks. At the tender age of just 18 months, she was a brave and bold character who had by all accounts been dominant over her twin brother from an early age! She is sociable, confident and energetic by nature, which are unusual traits for a leopard. She and our breeding male Artur got along well and were mixed in July 2008, when she fell pregnant after their first introduction, much to the joy of everyone! We were keen for her to produce cubs as part of the European Endangered Species Breeding Programme, with approximately 70 individuals of these left in the wild in the World, they are most endangered big cat on the planet. In October 2008, Xizi and Artur became the proud parents of two male cubs, Argun and Anuy. She is a remarkable mother, relaxed by giving impeccable care to her cubs at all times. Anuy has already become a dad in Hiroshima in Japan in March of 2014 when he produced two female cubs.. which is a fantastic achievement. Argun is at Rutlands awaiting his destination within the breeding programme. In June 2012, Xizi and Hogar, our other breeding male produced 2 more cubs, this time a male and a female.. Manchurian and Zeya. Zeya is now a mother herself at Hogle Zoo, Saltlake City, Utah. Manchurian is at Prague Zoo in the Czech Republic and will also hopefully sire cubs in the future. Xizi is stunningly beautiful and is a favourite to be photographed being so photogenic! Still very playful, but a force not to be reckoned with, always approach with caution!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR BEAUTIFUL GIRL Xizi!! #happybirthday #amurleopard #mostendangered
