Flood alerts issued in across Kent after yellow weather warning

Flood alerts will remain in force across Kent today following two days of heavy rainfall - with 60 roads closed across the county.
The conditions have caused chaos for drivers and commuters and left part of the A26 near Hadlow looking like a "swimming pool", while a caravan park has been evacuated for the second time in three weeks.
KCC Highways described the situation as "severe" and said the road had been shut between the A228 roundabout and Common Lane.
Officials said due to the sheer volume of water they will struggle to clear it in time for rush-hour this morning.
The authority is dealing with 60 road closures.
Flood levels are not expected to get worse today, but forecasters warn they will remain high.
Low-lying areas such as Swalecliffe and Leysdown remain at risk.
There is, however, no rain forecast levels across Kent are expected to drop throughout the afternoon.
In Ashford a huge pool of water has left the Henwood Industrial Estate blocked off.
Meanwhile fire crews are currently dealing with three cars and a lorry stranded in flood water in Marden, near Maidstone.
Others vehicles were left stranded in other parts of the County Town.
The Environment Agency says flooding is also possible on Kent's farmland.
Part of a key route has been closed between Hythe and Canterbury.
Southeastern is also warning of problems across the network, with a rockfall at Dover causing severe delays this morning.
In one of the worst weather-related incidents, a car park was left underwater as heavy rain hit Canterbury.
Parts of a Bearsted building site for homes which got the green light despite grave flooding concerns have also been left submerged under water.
Flood warnings are in place for the River Teise area, from Lamberhurst to Tunbridge Wells, the River Bourne, from Hadlow near Tonbridge and Malling, the Upper River Medway, from Goudhurst near Tunbridge Wells, River Beult, from Pluckley in Ashford, and the River Medway, from Penshurst near Sevenoaks, and from Hampstead Lock at Yalding in Maidstone.
The Upper River Stour, Charing Heath to the A2070 including Ashford, along Plenty, Swalecliffe, and West Brooks from Herne Bay to Whitstable, Rivers Eden and Eden Brook in Hever in Sevenoaks are also at risk.
Further alerts are in place for the Lesser Teise area, from Horsmonden in Tunbridge Wells, River Darent, from Westerham in Sevenoaks to Dartford, West Brook at Hampton, from Frogs Island Farm in Herne Bay, the River Medway, Alder Stream, and Coult Stream and Swalecliffe Brook, in Canterbury and at Paddock Wood and Laddingford.
