Brands Hatch will host the A1 GP title decider after the final round in Mexico was scrapped by the championship organisers.
The Kent circuit was originally due to hold the penultimate race this weekend but for the three teams chasing the top spot it’s now all or nothing.
A1 GP bosses decided to abort plans to host the final race in Mexico following advice from the UK Foreign Office to cancel all non-essential travel to the flu-hit country.
Six points separate the top three nations, with Switzerland being chased hard by Team Ireland in second and the Portuguese team in third.
The British team are way down in 10th but they have Kent driver Aaron Steele on their books for this weekend’s race and the Rookie driver could feature in the main event if he impresses during Friday’s practice sessions.
Support races include the GT Cup - with Ferraris, Aston Martins and TVRs - plus Formula Palmer Audi. Adult gate tickets cost £35 for Sunday's race day.
