An air ambulance was spotted landing in a town centre park this morning.

The helicopter was seen touching down at Herne Bay Memorial Park at about 10.45am.

It is understood to have been at the scene for about 30 minutes before taking off.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman told KentOnline: “The air ambulance landed to assist us at a call to a nearby private address.

“We cannot comment on the details of calls at private addresses due to patient confidentality.”
