00:00, 16 August 2002
THE time has come for people in Thanet to dig out all those family heirlooms. The BBC's Antiques Roadshow with presenter Michael Aspel and a team of experts will be filming an episode at Ramsgate Sports Centre on Thursday, September 12.
Doors open from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Admission is free. Anyone with portable items should just turn up on the day.
But people with large pieces of furniture or bulky items are asked to write in advance to: Antiques Roadshow, BBC, Whiteladies Road, Bristol, BS8 2LR, before September 3. They should include photographs where possible and their name and address.
Deaf and hard of hearing viewers can request a sign language interpreter to meet them at the venue, by writing to the same address, giving 14 days notice.
