The Met Office says Kent is set for snow
15:15, 06 December 2017
Kent is set for an Arctic blast of snow as temperatures plummet, according to the Met Office.
Forecasters have told people in the county to expect flurries as part of an Arctic maritime airmass, which could hit over the weekend.
This evening strong gusty winds will develop across the south east with gales along coasts.
Tomorrow there will be occasionally heavy rain, strong winds and coastal gales with things getting increasingly colder.
From Friday to Sunday we're being told to expect strong northwesterly winds and snow showers.
A spokesman for the Met Office said about the prospects for the region: "There will be sharp frosts forming during the nights and it will get increasingly cloudy on Sunday with rain and possible snow in the north."
