Armed police search for man in village of Elvington

Armed police have helped in the search for a man believed to have a gun after a domestic incident this afternoon.
Firearms officers were called to the quiet village of Elvington, near Dover, at about 1pm.
Helped by the police helicopter, they searched for a man following allegations of a dispute in Milner Road.
Kent Police said a man was arrested at about 3.45pm. No weapons were found.
A spokesman for the force said the arrested man is in custody.
