Asda recalls its Little Angels Organic Beef and Sweet Potato Stew
15:30, 06 October 2017
Parents in Kent have been warned by a major supermarket not to give their children a batch of its beef stew.
Asda has said it's worried that some of its Little Angels Organic Beef and Sweet Potato Stew could have traces of plastic in it.
Anyone who finds they have bought this product with a best before date of September 10 2018 should not eat it and return it for a full refund.
The food is marketed towards children who are older than 12 months.
A statement by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute said: "Asda is recalling this product. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products."
