Australia recorded a 103-run victory over England Lions in their two-day match at Canterbury.
After declaring on 340-9, with opener Shane Watson top scoring on 95, the tourists dismissed the Lions for 237.
Pick of the Australian bowlers was paceman Brett Lee, who had not featured since sustaining a side injury at the start of July. Lee took 3-37 to put himself in contention for a call-up for Thursday's Fifth Test.
Afterwards Australia captain Ricky Ponting was complimentary about his latest trip to Kent, and his arrival at the wicket was warmly received by the St Lawrence Ground crowd who gave him the kind of reception that a player of his stature deserves, in contrast to the booing that Ponting has received at some matches.
