Baby scare for Gillingham boss
00:00, 28 March 2005
THE heavily pregnant partner of Gillingham Football Club chairman Paul Scally was taken to hospital after suffering pains - but she has now returned home and is doing well.
Sara Cox was taken to Pembury Hospital, near Tunbridge Wells, where she spent two days.
Mr Scally said: "She had been in terrible pain and we thought she was in labour. But it turned out to be a false alarm.
"It is not clear what caused the pain but thankfully she is now fine and so is the baby." The baby is due on Wednesday, March 9.
